Air Shocks for BMW MINI R56
The air suspension strut adopts a twintube internal structure with an adjustable 20-level rebound damping. By adjusting the 20-level rebound damping settings, the car owner can directly control the vehicle's dynamics.
A harder damping setting means a more stable body with reduced noticeable sway, while a softer damping setting means a more comfortable driving experience during slow-speed travel.
For the MINI R56 sport variant, the shorter wheelbase means that the suspension system has a quicker response time to imperfections or uneven surfaces, resulting in the vehicle more acutely transmitting road undulations and vibrations. The original MINI suspension can be characterized as "hard" but lacking in "resilience." In contrast, the air suspension upgrade provides a robust, resilient ride, effectively combining comfort with sporty dynamics.
